01The deal
Tamir Or, Or Schreiber and Inbal Katz Or built Dondy bootstrapped: a conversational commerce platform that became the #1-ranked WhatsApp app on the Shopify App Store, trusted by more than 70,000 businesses and facilitating over $100M in orders a year.
The buyer was not in their inbox. Circeus, the AI-native technology holding formerly known as Shop Circle, is a London group; Dondy is Israeli. The match came out of a prepared, advisor-run process: institutional materials, a curated buyer list, and a timeline with real deadlines.
It was also the second time this buyer group acquired a company out of an Array Capital process. Serious acquirers return to processes that are prepared properly and run straight.
“Thank you to everyone who supported us from day one: our advisors, our accountant, our lawyers, and to Attila Hardy for making it happen.”
02Why it worked
Cross-border by design
Israel to the United Kingdom. The best buyer is rarely next door; the process searched the whole map from day one.
A repeat buyer, earned
The group behind Circeus had already bought 506 out of an Array process in 2024. Familiarity with how we run a deal shortened diligence.
Founders stayed founders
The team kept building through the process. Preparation and Q&A ran on our side; their metrics kept compounding on theirs.
